RACE 3 FALMOUTH CHANGES FORMAT! - 03/08/10
After much deliberation, the race format will change at Falmouth from the original Eliminator to a version of the Points Accumulator culminating with the top 8 in each section racing off in a classic Iron Man event!
Due to the distance some competitors have to travel and the cost they will incur, it has been decided too harsh to eliminate competitors after just one discipline. Team Sponsor Sam Moore of BC Surf expressed his concerns at spending in excess of £100 on petrol to go home possibly after 1 swim!! There fore the Accumulator will be used once with each discipline being raced separately and the top athletes qualifying for the 8 person final! That way the best Athletes will still qualify and each discipline specialist will have the chance to gain maximum points in their favorite leg!
Wildcard entries are accepted on the day with Registration from 2pm onwards.
